Art Basel Online Viewing Rooms Exploring Space and Time: Alighiero Boetti and Lucio Fontana

Ben Brown Fine Arts is thrilled to participate in the second iteration of Art Basel Online Viewing Rooms, presenting a curated selection of important Post-War masterpieces by two of the most celebrated Italian conceptual artists, Alighiero Boetti and Lucio Fontana. Their works disparately explore ideas of light, space, time, colour, structure and technology, challenging traditional notions of artmaking and authorship. The exhibition focuses on the period between the 1940s and 1990s, highlighting these artists’ relationships with the movements and organizations that defined the development of Modern and Contemporary art, including Abstract Expressionism, Spatialism, ZERO, Arte Povera and Minimalism.
