Ben Brown Fine Arts is pleased to announce its return to The Armory Show 2025 with a presentation of contemporary works by leading artists from the gallery’s primary roster. The booth will feature paintings, photographs, mixed media works, and sculpture by Yoan Capote, Awol Erizku, Conor Harrington, Candida Höfer, Vik Muniz, Nabil Nahas, José Parlá, Enoc Perez, Ena Swansea, Hank Willis Thomas, and Gavin Turk.

The presentation highlights new and recent works drawn directly from artists’ studios, reflecting the formal range and conceptual depth of the gallery’s programme.

This year at Armory, the gallery is proud to introduce the work of one of our new primary artists, Irish-born, London-based painter Conor Harrington. Known for his large-scale oil paintings that draw on history painting, battle scenes and the theatricality of the Baroque, Harrington examines the spectacle and decline of empire and traditional masculinity. His canvases depict white male figures dressed in the regalia of 18th century authority – Georgian, Napoleonic and American Revolutionary uniforms, complete with ermine cloaks, powdered wigs and frock coats. These men grapple, stumble and unravel, often entangled in swathes of pastel bunting.
