Marking the Way Home : Screening and Q&A with José Parlá | May 24 | 2pm

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is hosting a screening of Marking the Way Home on May 29 at 2pm. This short documentary explores José Parlá’s Homecoming exhibition at PAMM, tracing his early life, battle with COVID-19, and heartfelt return to his hometown. Featuring interviews with art world figures such as KAWS, Hank Willis Thomas, and Anne Pasternak, the film highlights Parlá’s resilience and artistic legacy. A Q&A with the artist, PAMM Associate Curator Maritza Lacayo, and filmmaker Lazaro Llanes will follow.
