Sean Landers American, b. 1962
Sean Landers was born in Massachusetts, USA, in 1962. He received his B.F.A. from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1984, and his M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Art in 1986. Landers has exhibited widely, and notable solo exhibitions include the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Missouri (2010) and Kunsthalle Zürich, Zürich (2004). His works exist in numerous museum and public collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; Denver Art Museum, Denver; Seattle Art Museum, Seattle; Tate Modern, London; Sammlung Hoffman, Berlin; and Fundación/La Colección Jumex, Mexico City.
